Hot Pink Boots & #Passion4Fashion Linkup

Well Hello there lovelies, how are you?  Welcome back to the first #Passion4Fashion linkup of 2018! I hope you’ve all had the best festive season and are now back comfortably in the flow of things.

Things are still in the old chrimbo limbo over here as the kids are still off (back on Monday) and routines haven’t kicked in just yet, we’ve been enjoying a lot of down time and just had a very chilled Christmas and new year. The weather has been atrocious so its kind of stopped any plans.

In regards to New Years resolutions? Well i don’t think i have anything solid as yet. I felt this strange pressure on Jan 1st to set some goals and resolutions and all i did was sit with a blank piece of paper. Its not that i don’t have any goals or ambitions for the year per say, but i think the pressure to make them is sometimes a little heavy. I think plans will come in to place when the feeling is right. But i shall be sure to keep you posted on anything i may be aiming for. (although one is to hit 10,000 followers on Instagram this year.. that would be ace, and if you don’t already follow, it would be amazing if you could follow here! 😉

And well on to the outfit i guess, I picked this rather lovely maxi dress up in the Next Sale and its so pretty with its lovely bird print and pink splashes. I paired if very simply with a blush cardigan and my favourite hot pink boots. These boots always get so many comments, theyre such a fun easy way to add a pop of colour to an outfit.

Last year was all about red for me, but this year i am loving pink!

That is such a beautiful maxi dress! The hot pink boots are the perfect touch with it!

Thank you for the link up!

Happy new year! Hope that this first week of 2018 is going well for you! We’ve been enjoying the warmer weather with some pool time, as it has been a particularly humid summer so far the pool has been a good idea. While the weather is different, our days sound just relaxed as yours ?

Get a tan either fake or real! Reach 2,000 followers on IG (if only) and get fitter – last one is probably the same as many people. Good luck with finding and achieving yours. Pretty outfit – love the colours together.

      • January 11, 2018 / 8:41 am

Love your dress and booties! I plan to take the time I spend on IG and use it more for reading blogs. I spent way too much time on IG last year trying to compete in an area that I don’t understand and missed out on a lot of great blog posts. I enjoy blogs more and this year I will do more of the things that bring me joy!

  7. January 5, 2018 / 1:26 pm

I absolutely love your outfit, and especially the pink booties! I don’t have a pair in pink but you’ve made me want to get some!

Rachel you look so gorgeous and I love how you styled this outfit with two different shades of pink, just lovely! I wish you many blessings this year!

I do like a bit of pink to brighten up dull January! It’s like a bit of visible hope that spring isn’t too far away. Enjoy the weekend before normality resumes, I do like your latest jumper purchase from your IG stories – weather’s turned a bit chillier so you should get to wear it very soon!! x
