Ok so i’ve been banging on about this Green Coat since i got it a mere few weeks ago. It has been on constant repeat and i don’t even care if every outfit is based around this coat right now. Seeing as we’re still in what feels like the depths of winter most days its nice to have this giant cuddle of a coat to wear. Plus it just seems to go with everything. So wear it I shall be, for the foreseeable at least. I also picked these Red boots up after being on the hunt for the perfect pair (not too high, comfy yet smart) and they’re a delight for the feet. I was a little bit cautious that the red and green in the outfit would scream ‘Christmas’ But i think being at opposite ends and broken with the neutrals makes it work.
It always feels a little late in the season to be buying coats and boots, especially as all the shops are being filled with pastel floaty pieces. But in truth, it will still be cold here for quite a while enabling much more wear before they get put in to storage for their return appearance in Autumn.
The other great thing about shopping late in the season is, of course, the bargains. Both these items had a huge saving on them (30% off i believe) which makes me love them all the more.
Have you bought anything you love late in the season?

This combo looks great – I love pairing bold colours. As for the weather, I thought it had turned into spring here the other day and almost put away my winter coat before it returned to freezing cold temperatures thefollowing day. And as for late season bargains, I bagged a pair of silver ankle boots in the New Look sale for a tenner!
Love that emerald green coat!! Especially paired with a striped shirt. I would've never thought to pair the two but they look so pretty together. Thanks for the outfit inspo + link up. Have a great weekend!

I think this is the perfect time to buy these pieces–they're usually on sale, you can wear them a couple times yet at the start of the next time you wear them–they still seem new!!

That's a gorgeous coat! I'm not a big fan of green but that coat is stunning. And I love how you styled it with those red boots.

Oh my, Rachel! I need this coat in my life! I even checked for it its availability, but alas, my size is sold out! Plus I don't know if they ship to the US. But now I am going on a quest to find a similar coat in the same hue! Absolutely gorgeous. And it really does work with the fab red boots without looking Christmas-y!

Love the green and the red together! xx
This looks super on you, and I think you can wear these colours together and not think 'christmas'! I tried green jeans and red jumper recently, but it now-where-near looked as good as this. Jacqui
