I had every intention of taking multiple outfit photos this past week, what with opportunities to dress up and also having the husband around to take photos, it seemed the ideal opportunity.
But when it came down to it, all i wanted to do was chill with my loved ones, just sit and not worry about what i was wearing and if i could get photos, to just relax and wear the same thing on repeat and also sloth about in my joggers or pj’s.
And that’s exactly what i did.
So should i be bringing you a nice outfit post today? Or a 2016 recap? Yes i probably should.
But instead i took the time out.. and d’you know what, I bloody well enjoyed it too.
So here’s the only outfit pic i took all week, which i will be completely honest and say i changed out of the skinny jeans as soon as i had completed my ‘out of house tasks’ (i.e went to get food shopping)
Not even a full length shot, just a dirty mirror selfie.. it was all i could seem to manage it would seem.
But with rest comes renewed vigour, and so i am looking forward to a new year and getting back in to the swing of things.
So it just leaves me to wish you all a Very, Very Happy New Year. Here’s to a happy, healthy, prosperous and down right marvellous 2017 to one and all!
Feel free to link up any fashion posts from the last year below. I am in much need of inspiration so will take some time to come view as many links as possible over the coming week!

It's good to have a break and take time out to spend with family. I didn't spend as much time on the blog as I intended over Christmas but I'm not going to feel guilty about it. Happy New Year Rachel!
