Summer Skirts (& #Passion4Fashion Link up)

I wanted to start this Fridays link up with a heartfelt BIG thank you to all who visit here week after week and join in the link-up. I was just scanning through some old posts and seeing hundreds of your beautiful faces smiling back at me  really, really made me so happy. It’s lovely to see you all and i honestly can’t thank you enough for swinging by here, if its every week or every now and again, THANK YOU!

We’ve actually experienced a few days of summer here in Wales.. I know! What a treat. It’s meant that I’ve actually gotten to wear some of the pieces I had planned in my Summer Capsule!

This particular outfit was planned from way back in May but we just haven’t had enough of the nice weather to wear it. I fell for the skirt instantly, knowing it would be great dressed up or down. The soft aztec print is super versatile and with the pattern leading vertically  its a nice flattering print for my bottom half, lengthening rather than widening.. which is always a bonus.

Outfit Details:

Skirt: Warehouse bought back in May

Denim Jacket: Super old

Cami: Topshop

Heels: Next, last year

Clutch: Yosa

Necklace: Yosa

So anyway, enough about me. How are you?

Are you enjoying summer or looking forward to Autumn/fall?

PERFECT skirt, Rachel… So lovely with all the blue and then just a touch of tan in the shoes and bag!

What a shame we don't get to wear our summer stuff more!! It was glorious here at the beginning of the week, and now it's pouring down and looks like November outside. Soooo depressing… I hope you don't get blown away at the weekend, gales are forecast 🙁

Thank you for hosting my lovely, hope you're well

Beautiful skirt! I love the colors and the pattern! It looks great with the blue tank and the denim jacket! Glad the weather was nice enough to wear it!

It'll stay quite warm (at least during the day) here in California all through October. I know, a good problem to have. But I actually get a bit annoyed after a while and wish for some fall weather and clothes. I always have to add a layer in the morning but make sure to wear summer clothes underneath, which gets a bit boring…

Thanks for the linkup & have a wonderful weekend!

Hi Rachel, this blue outfit is divine, looks fab on you. Tan goes so well with blue. I hate to admit it but I'm slightly looking forward to Autumn, seeing the transitional pieces in the stores makes me long to start wearing Autumnal colours. Thank for the link up Hun … Jacqui

Love the shoes with this outfit! I know the struggle of not getting to wear your summer clothes…I live in Germany and it has been a very mild summer! I'm trying to get in all the floral and maxi dresses I can while it's decent.
