Navy trench, With a Black Jumpsuit and Pops of Yellow

The jumpsuit was something i shied away from for a long time, but once i embraced the glorified onesie trend i couldn’t help but love it. As always it’s just about finding out what works for you. This is my second jumpsuit, my first being a utility Mango jumpsuit that carries a more casual air (which i must dig out come to think of it, it could be perfect for spring)  and now this new F&F one, which i absolutely love. The wrap detail, the D-ring belt and the exposed zip all add to this little gems qualities and it was on sale..need i say more.  Even though this jumpsuit is a little dressier with its V neckline i wanted to bring it in to more of a casual day wear . To counter the dressy i added in my navy long-line trench and some gorgeous lace up navy flats that i have been living in of late.

Black and navy teamed together can be just so good, breaking the old rules of the two should never meet. Breaking the rules can be fun; dressy items for day wear, colours that used to be separated now coming together, living on the wild side over here folks 😉

The #100daysnospend is officially over (roll out the flags woohhooo) and this past weekend has seen me lucky enough to do a little shopping.. Oh yes , it has been delightful. more on that later in the week.

Do you own a jumpsuit?

How do you wear yours? Casual, dressy, or both?

And if you don’t own one, would you consider the jumpsuit trend?

That necklace looks stunning, love all the colours and how it ties in the yellow of your bag, which is absolutely gorgeous I must add 🙂

I feel a bit sick about the fact I spent £60 on a jumpsuit from Topshop not long ago which is so similar to yours. I really do love F&F. You look fab x

I thought I would never embrace this trend, but when I was shopping I saw a romper and decided to try it on 'just to see what it would like on me'. I was so surprised. It was so flattering, I bought it. I can't wait to wear it this summer. Love your look! You look fabulous!

I love a good jumpsuit as long as I can get it to fit me right 🙂 I think you did it perfectly with the monochromatic look and just slight pops of color–beautiful!!

Haven't had a jumpsuit since 1972. Oh so true. Actually hate them. Don't tell anyone tho, ok? lol

Rachel, you look fabulous. Those shoes lend a look of Princess Jazmin in Aladdin. Yes. Your styling is so masterful. I love it, my friend!

I don't own a jumpsuit Rachel, but I intend to do something about it this year! Love your shoes, I never think of Boden as selling shoes, they're very different. Love the pop of yellow, especially in Spring.

OMG Rachel how do you always look so good? Is it possible. And yes YOU SHOULD pull out that Mango utility jumpsuit….I'm pretty sure that is totally trending right now!

I have a jumpsuit and look awful in it, at under 5 feet tall you really need the perfect jumpsuit, and mine is nowhere near perfect.

Thank you so much for joining the #reasonstodress linkup!
