Tres Cool (and Passion 4 Fashion Linkup)

Happy 2015 everyone!

Welcome to the first Passion 4 Fashion Link up of the year!
Each Friday i absolutely love seeing all your faces this little linkup and i thank each and everyone of you for joining in.
Today being the first of the year, i bring a wee bit of sparkle. Funny, i used to hate anything sequinned, deeming it chavy or just damn un-cool. But change is always good and i am the first to admit when i am wrong. And i admit i was wrong.
Now i freaking love some sparkle. Sequins are by new bff and what i love even more is when the sequins are attached to a simple casual piece, like this sweatshirt. Contrast is good in my books. Sequins imply dressy yet sweatshirt says casual. Win Win!

Are you a sequin/sparkle kind of girl?

I am not opposed to sequins at all. I usually just don't buy them because they aren't very versatile. I like how you styled them here. Happy 2015!

    Happy New Year,
I am most definitely a sparkle girl! In the past I use to think it was only a thing you wear on a holiday like NYE, until I figured out how to incorporated to my normal style. I love those shoes♥!!

Your top says it all really…this is one super cool outfit!!!! I don't know which piece is my favorite. First I thought it was the tough shoes, then the skirt with its wonderful quilting, then the furry vest started telling me how soft it would be, but it all comes back to the top I guess. :o)

Rachel those boots are AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAmazing… I absolutely LOVE them!!! I hate you for making me want (need) them!! 😉

They remind me of the boots that Madonna wore in Desperately Seeking Susan – and aged 13 I really needed them too. You make them look flippin awesome with yet another of your gorgeous black and grey looks… You're a genius!

Happy New Year oh awesome gorgeous one – and thank you for hosting!

Happy new year!! I love sequins and they're perfect for the holiday. I think they add a lot of cool texture to any outfit. Your whole outfit mixes a ton of fun texture with the fuzzy vest and leather skirt.

I hope you have an amazing 2015! Looking forward to see the looks you come up with this year.

I have to admit that I also was a bit snooty about sequins and that kind of thing, but now I don't mind them on other people and am even considering adding some to my own wardrobe, if I can find the right piece! Love those booties, the whole look is very chic. Happy New Year Rachel! x

Fashion forecasts for the next year are full of solid colors among them shiny solid colors and metallics, tons of animal prints and stripes, bohemian looks as well as over sized and bulky

I am definitely a sparkle kind of girl, Rachel 🙂 And I agree that one of the the best ways to incorporate them into an outfit is with contrast. I'd be much more drawn to a casual top with a hint of glitz then an all over sequin gown! All the best for 2015! x
