Khaki, red and houndstooth &Passion 4 Fashion Linkup

This winter the combo of khaki, red and houndstooth has probably been worn on this back at least once a week. For a girl who’s never dabbled with greem before, there’s been a lot of it going on!
Funnily this chunky knit dress is super-dooper old (5+years) but has never been on the blog. Its gone a wee bit large now but i still can’t bring myself to get rid of it (being a hoarder can be a hard life) plus it really big and chunky, perfect for those freezing cold days. I actually layer a thermal top underneath making it extra warm and toasty.Adding red was an obvious option.. i just can’t help myself they just seem like they were made for each other, red and khaki = true love! Add in some classic houndstooth in the form of an oversized scarf and i’d say that makes one hellova menage a trois 😉
The knee high boots finished off the simple look. These are just the perfect knee high boot. I have literally turned to them so often this winter. They just add a chic-smart side to the fairly casual outfit. Plus haver i ever mentioned? They are so so comfy, they have padded little cushions inside for your feet, making them the nicest heels to wear. I actually wore them for our charity event where i was on my feet solidly all day and d’you know what? No achey feet at all! I was happily surprised!

I've never thought of putting red and khaki together! What's wrong with me, they look great?! I think in my head red and green = Christmas and I never thought about variations of either… And love the red coat, especially with the houndstooth. Great winter look – and a bit different! CC x

The red coat and houndstooth scarf is such a striking look, absolutely gorgeous! I only have a couple of green pieces in my wardrobe but I find they go with loads and think I'll be adding more post spending ban.

This knit dress looks very cute on you even if it's old! It looks comfy and I like the red coat paired with it. I wish I had a houndstooth scarf like yours too. It's so perfect with the red coat!
