Drop Waist Navy Dress with a Biker Jacket (& Passion4Fashion Linkup)

A week long break from outfit posts has felt relaxing and frustrating all at the same time. You know when you can’t get photos on any given day so you kind of dress down or wear the same thing (a lot) well thats been me. But then i get frustrated and wanna play dress up and take blog photos. it’s a hard life eh.
Its been raining so so much here in the UK that we have had literally no chance to grab photos, that and being super busy with the summer holidays and kiddo stuff and hub’s been working really long hours. All this equates to not many #ootd pics. But i am so glad to be back with this one today.
Last week do you remember my bargain biker jeans from Primark and me saying i also bought a few other things on my super speedy shop. Well, this drop waist dress is one of the other purchases, which i utterly love! This is my second attempt with the drop waist and i like it!
I can see this simple little dress with tights and boots in its very near future (man is it cold here.. its like autumn has come early!)
Plus navy and black together with a little added ‘neutral’ of the leopard print all makes for a simple but effective outfit.

The dress is stunning, I'm not usually a fan of drop-waist dress but I love this pair and the colour is just perfect. I love your addition of leopard print and the pop of colour with the shoes and necklace. Hopefully, you can find more time to take more outfit posts.

Gorgeous dress! I've not tried a drop-waist dress and I'm not entirely sure it'll look good on me but I might see if I can find this in Primark and give it a go, it's a gorgeous colour! x

As always, I love the details in your outfit- the pink clutch looks super cool with the leopard print shoes. And the shape and color of the dress is perfect for tons of different occasions. 🙂

I'm so incredibly jealous of the rain you all have there. I want rain so bad although admittedly, I get super lazy to wear nice outfits when it rains, haha unless I have a nice rain coat.

P.S. Thanks to both you and Lena for always hosting this lovely link-up. It's so nice to participate in it and to meet other great bloggers. xx

Those last few close-ups of your facial expressions made me smile! I love the drop waist dress on you, it looks super-cute, and then you've teamed it with those strong accessories so it's not overly girly. Very nicely done! Hope all is well with you, I've been off radar a bit with work, so have lots of your outfits to catch up on. Thanks for hosting xx

I love navy & black leather together! Those shoes are so amazing & look great with just about everything don't they! I'm so kicking myself Rachel as I just took it for granted that August would be scorchio & I'd be out everyday at the beach with the kids! Its so not fair! Thank you for being a lovely hostess! Ax

Rachel I love love love the pink bag!! I will definitely get that and a few necklaces from Yosa. I know the pink is such a bright colour for summer but I equally love it in winter with grey/black. I feel your pain with the rain and outfit photos. It is so frustrating but it feels so great to finally be able to take photos and get back into the outfit posts again. Love it 🙂
