Wearing Neon (&passion 4 fashion linkup)

True story, i actually hated neon last year. It just reminded me of the Hi-Vis jackets my husband wears when he’s on work sites.

Fast forward a year and suddenly i love neon, to the point where i will quite happily deck myself out in it. What made me change? who knows, i sure don’t. Maybe its the powers of advertising, maybe its blogger influence, either way neon is a big thumbs up from me.

And the floral shoes? How could i resist! I mean come on! they are full on floral shoes! how awesome. And the block heel makes them decidedly comfy regardless of the height. Matalan strikes again and another pair of heels is added to the collection..:)

The heels, the heels!! Plus your legs, and the neon, and the necklace… the list goes on. Best (and prettiest) heels I've seen all week – and they're from Matalan?!!! Talking of trend U-turns: I can remember about 10 years ago saying "Why did we ever wear leggings in the early 90s – I can't think of anything more horrible".

Hmmm I had to eat those words when they came back a few years ago, didn't I…!! Have a wonderful weekend lovely Rachel and thank you for hosting 🙂

I'm with you! Last year, I thought neon was only for pre-teens. I thought it was an 80s fad that would stay in the 80s, but when I started to see pre-teens bring it back, my eyes started to burn. It was too bright, and never would be able to wear it! So I vowed not to. But I've been gravitating slowly to incorporate some neon….

Unlike you though! Wow! You are rocking this neon. I am convinced though, like this outfit, a pop of neon with an amazing shoe, and you're good to go! Thanks for helping me come to the "bright side!"
