Mint with pops of Pink & Lilac (&Passion4Fashion Linkup!)

Lately i have been spending A LOT of time at my laptop, what with the blog and trying to consciously have a steady stream of posts and my super new super exciting venture (more details soon! i can’t wait to share with you all) I’m truly feeling a little cyber burn-out. Last night i woke up in a cold sweat after a major dream about drowning in a pool of statement necklaces (scary i tell you!)
So this weekend, for the majority, i am going to unplug. I say for the majority because the OCD side of me still wants to have a post ready for Sunday, but my head space i am going to try and free up.
I have just downloaded The Happiness Project and I’m really keen to get stuck in to it. Have you read it? Did you enjoy if you have?

Just a simple pastel outfit today. This mint blouse was an absolute steal from Warehouse for £10, its  got a beautiful cut with sheer panels at the front and a beautiful V shaped one to the back, which is did not get photographed..shame on me! But it’s flowy and pretty and feels nice on. Pastels with a pop of pink easy and pleasey.

 Blouse: Warehouse

Shoes: Matalan

Jeans: F&F

Hat: Asos

bag: River Island

Perspex Statement necklace: Yosa

Love this outfit – the shoes and the necklace are wonderful. I've been away for a couple of days on guide camp and it's been lovely to get away from the internet.

This colour on you, WOW, love it with the necklace and the white jeans.

  11. May 30, 2014 / 1:19 pm

Haha that dream about the necklaces is so funny. It reminded me of a dream I once had where I opened my closet and clothes just kept spilling out. I woke up in a real panic! lol

I love, love, love mint. Fun with the pink too! I totally understand about wanting/needing to unplug. With working full time at a computer and then blogging, I often feel the same way. I enjoy it all so much though! Taking breaks is good though. Enjoy your weekend!

GREAT ENSEMBLE! Yes, I am intending to be yelling that because I LOVE IT! Yours is the best post on pastels I have seen thus far this season. Wow! The best!

  14. May 30, 2014 / 4:30 pm

So funny that you dreamt about statement necklaces…!!!!!!! You're obsessed girl, I tell you! Rachel this outfit is just almost too gorgeous – the mint and the lilac and the neon pink and and and… I think I might have to get that hat – I don't have a lilac hat so I need one, right????

Have a fabulous, internet-free weekend – enjoy it! I really should do the same sometime.

That lilac hat was seriously one of the best finds of this season for you!! it goes with EVERYTHING you wear and is so different than the standard straw woven hat I love it! Not sure if my comment ever got posted, I usually get distracted by a certain " joy of my life" and can't remember if I finish writing / submitting comments….but every now and then I randomly look at the archives of bloggers I follow and I happened upon your wedding pics. You were a GORGEOUS BRIDE and your pictures were some of the most honest, joyful and sincerely happy photographs I've seen in a long time. see…..looking at archives has its advantages! Discovered so much about you with that post.
