Monochromatic and Passion For Fashion Link Up

A little monochromatic number for you today folks. As much as i love colour, i do also love a simple black and white combo. Simple and effective i find. This purdy heart skirt was Erica’s choice from F&F clothing for our #Frockswap, she styled it beautifully here, and i can safely say that this skirt is so so Erica. Me though? well i haven’t worn hearts in a while and skater skirts feel a little on the unflattering side for me (they hug my mum-tum in all the wrong places, blah!!), but i did actually like Erica’s skirt. It was comfy and like nothing else i own, which is always so refreshing, and being refreshed with your wardrobe choices is always a good thing i think. When this arrives safely back to erica i can see it surely becoming a staple for her, but for now on to Debbie and Donna it shall go, and i cant wait to see their take on it!

Here’s how the Beauty herself styled it!

Skirt: Erica’s c/o f&f

Jacket: f&f from (last year)

Tee: Primark

Necklace: River Island

Hat & Boots: New Look

I'm with ya- I'm a color lover that's been digging some black and white lately. Love how you both styled it in your own way- swapping is so fun! 🙂

There's a certain elegance in simplicity. I own this skirt and it is a beauty, although I know what you mean about the hips! You look sleek and as glossy as you always do xx

Erika does rally suit that skirt but I love your interpretation of it. On you it takes on a completely different persona that is really interesting when combined with a biker jacket. I need more friends with which to swap clothes!!

I have a soft spot for monochrome, always, so I really like this look on you. Although I do like Erika's use of mint with that skirt too! Both great ways of styling it. P x

LOVE your monochromatic styling of this skirt and the way you toughened up a heart print. Also love the concept of taking one item and passing it around to various bloggers to see it styled in different ways.

Very nicely done, Rachel. You have very shapely legs. {does that sound weird coming from me?} Hope not. Think of it as a talent scout or professional model scout stating a fact! lol ♥

Gorgeous as usual. Lately I am just floored by how beautifully stylish and absolutely put-together you look in every. single. post.
I'm so sorry I haven't been around much to comment (and let's not even mention how I haven't emailed in forever). I've been too neglectful of the blogging world lately… but I'm working on changing that. 🙂 Expect to see me around here (and maybe an email to your inbox) more often. ♥
