Passion For Fashion Link Up

Happy friday ladies, So so sorry i am running super late with this post, i went out for a lovely meal last night with my bestie and i was like in a food coma when i got back late last night… im still full now, but it was so so good! So ladies the weekend is upon us, plans? Anything nice? I am working Saturday and then days off Sunday Monday, i am literally just praying to the weather goods that its stops raining…arrghghhh, constant rain you are doing my head well and truly in!

These were taking on a drizzly day earlier this week, grey and rain is pretty much the norm of late…(which i’ve probably mentioned at least 54673989765 times already!!) But we found this sweet little spot with this pretty little river/stream and lots of leafy cover, we’ve never taken photos here before but it was a lovely little spot to find and walk along. I was desperate for some wellies so i could just walk right through that river and over to the other side.. that would have been cool!

This is the puurddy dress hubs bought me recently when we were out for coffees. Its that super soft sweatshirt like material that is warm and stretchy and comfy. I can see me wearing this a lot over winter. How would you remix it? Any ideas for me?

I mentioned in my last post about doing a vlog and the general consensus was a yes!

So ladies.. i neeeed some questions from you. I need something to babble on about in a vlog so please hit me with some questions…anything at all!

Ask away!

Hubs has really been excelling himself with the photos lately, he is so good.. i feel so lucky to have him to take my photos. He loves nature shots and landscapes more than taking photos of me time and time again in different clothes, but man i sure do appreciate him , he doesn’t moan and he sure doesn’t grumble (much) when i drag him out in the drizzly rain, haha! Heres to all our wonderful helpers who help make our blogs!!

I am always so jealous of how great you look in hats! Also, I am loving the burgundy tights with your booties, I'm going to have to try that sometime!

  2. November 8, 2013 / 3:41 pm

I wore the new cognac boots this time in linking up — I'm sooooo happy I invested in both the black and cognac versions of these boots.

I adore your hat and the mix of fall tones in your outfit! 🙂

  3. November 8, 2013 / 5:10 pm

What a sweet gift! That's a great dress- even better that it's so comfy too. I can see it's going to be fun to remix.

  4. November 8, 2013 / 5:50 pm

Aw don't you love having a sweet hubby to take your pics?! I'm so thankful for my guy too 🙂 And your photos always look amazing so he does do a good job! This is such a pretty spot for photos, so dreamy. And you look beautiful! I love the hat!!

  5. November 8, 2013 / 6:54 pm

Absolutely lovely! Especially the hat – wonderful. I would love a Vlog on how to choose colours that work for you, you always seem to know exactly what colours will compliment you the best 🙂

  6. November 8, 2013 / 9:03 pm

I did join. I joined last night. I'm #3. It is a pic of my tights. Maybe that was confusing. I love your ensemble; it is all deep colors on a similar palate. I love it!!!!

  7. November 8, 2013 / 11:21 pm

Rachel this is a very "Rachel the Hat" outfit: floppy hat, coloured tights and a floral dress… and it's perfect! Plus I'm in love with those baby blues of yours!!

Question for your vlog: Who would you like to play you in a movie about your life? (Sorry it's not fashion-related but it's always a goodie!)

Have a fabulous weekend my Welsh Wonder :))

This look is so perfect, Rachel… and the pics & location are amazing! Thanks for being such a great co-host!

  9. November 9, 2013 / 3:56 am

Such a cute look. The dress and booties are just fab!

  10. November 9, 2013 / 7:13 am

Hooray for blog helpers! I've been getting my boyfriend to help me more often now since it's so much quicker! Your pictures look amazing!
I also really love your new dress. Dresses made out of that stretchy material are the best things ever. I have a couple and I swear I could sleep in them.

  11. November 9, 2013 / 6:11 pm

I would enjoy a vlog discussing the differences between the US & the UK that you noticed when in NYC. I think a lot of your US readers are curious about the UK, and vice versa. Just a thought…

  12. November 9, 2013 / 6:23 pm

This outfit reminds me of old style Rachel, just in muted colors 🙂 Kind of loving it. And a VLOG?! Yes please! I will finally get to hear your voice and adorable accent. As for a question for you to answer…I've got to think on that for a bit and come up with a good one.
    Happy weekend, friend!

  13. November 10, 2013 / 3:53 am

I love your purple hat, it looks lovely with your fall color pallet. hope you get some nice weather for your days off!

I'm always a big fan of pairing a collared shirt under a dress, and then putting a short necklace under the collar. Add some tights, boot socks, and tall boots – and you've got a new way to wear that dress!

  15. November 10, 2013 / 6:48 pm

This dress is gorgeous, I really love the print! It would look fab layered up with jumpers, my favourite thing to do at the moment!
