Black And white

I have been totally orbiting black and white combo’s for the past couple of weeks, which is weird for a girl who wears as many colours as physically possible in just one outfit. It’s just the classic black and white combination never goes out of fashion can just look so great! It can look chic or funky, girly or masculine and just plain awesome. I guess thats why it never really goes out of style, it returns year after year.

The whole of this outfit is a cheapy from Primark (bar the bag and sunnies), i just love the little textured jacket (boucle? I’m not sure) And the whole Channel type feel with the shades and the pearls. Not normally a look i frequent, but something i sure did love wearing. Add a swish of red lipstick and i was happy as a piggy in a peach orchard… a chic piggy im sure 😉

Speaking of piggies i feel like one lately. Oh my giddy aunt, i have eaten SO much chocolate lately… like ridiculous amounts 🙁 I have finally decided i need to do something, so i have downloaded the Couch-to-5k app on my phone and i’m planning on starting it imminently (i was waiting for the weather to be less cold but that would be like waiting for pigs to fly right now it would seem)  I have ordered myself some running gear and a little holder for my phone for when i jog, (ok, walk…lets face facts..i am unfit!!) and i am mentally physicing myself… Lets do this Rachel!!! Anyone tried this app or one like it? It seems a great way to get me started. Any tips for a lazy bones?

Dress, Pearls, Jacket, Belt & Shoes: Primark

Bag: Matalan

Sunnies: River Island

And on that note i’m going to go consume all the chocolate left in the house. I’m purely doing this to help myself out you understand.. the quicker its gone the better it will be ( is it possible to go cold turkey from chocolate deprivation? I guess i shall soon let you know, haha)

I'm very much liking this outfit and the textured cardi is so lovely. I have managed to make it through Lent without eating anything bad for me, and more amazingly still, without spending!
I have a total choc craving now. I'd be interested to know how you get on with the Couch to 5k app, it looks good but I'm hopeless at running, I don't seem to have the required self-motivation, and yet when I'm in the spinning studio at the gym I'm fine, with soemone else telling me what to do.

I love this outfit – you're right the black and white is wonderfully classic. You look fantastic, I love the pearls. I'm trying so hard not to eat all my Easter chocolate at once, it's hard though, they are just tempting me constantly. I'm trying about trying to get fit too, it's such a pain though – I like to think I don't have time for exercise but really I would just rather be doing something different xo

The outfit is so chic. I love seeing a new style on you. The jacket is a great length. My advice for the keeping fit is go slowly. You won't have any motivation if you've burnt yourself out in the first couple of days. (I'm a cricket coach so I should have some knowledge that's half helpful here). Good luck

Wow I can't believe that most of your outfit is from Primark, your outfit looks so expensive and chic I love it especially those shoes. Too pretty!

Hi Rachel, yes Couch 2 5K is a great way to start running! It's how I started, and it really is an easy way to work up to running long distances. Good luck!

Yeah you really can't go wrong with a classic combination of black and white. When I don't have time to think about color combinations I like to stick to black and white with a red accent. I love your pretty floral dress here and that cool textured cardigan.
