Another day, Another Orla

Hello Pretty ladies

Half way through the week and I am feeling much better.

So far i have rearranged my living room, applied for a new job (that i would really love to get) , started wearing make up again (yay), gotten the accounts of the office up to date and paid some all important bills. Don’t get me wrong its all pretty boring, but far more productive than last week (less tears!)

I was laughing so much here as the mustard bracelet i had on was one of those snap magnetic types, but every time i moved my chunky wrist it would just fly right off, it almost landed in the river which would have been the prettiest (and most annoying) game of poo sticks i had ever played!

Dress: Orla Kiely for Uniqlo

Scarf: Peacocks (old)

Cardi: Next (old)

Bag & Shoes: Dorothy Perkins

Can you tell I’m really digging the autumnal tones? I just cant stay away from them. The leaf print on this Orla number is so perfect for this time of year. I am challenging myself to come up with at least another 2 completely different ways of wearing it. When i say completely different, obviously not that different, we’re still talking in the realms of it being a dress and all, i cant magic it into something else, although that would be so cool (Currently reading The Night Circus, Celia Bowen would totally be able to do make it in to something completely different, i bet!)

As much as i agree with all other bloggers about autumn being wonderful, its just that in reality it means rain and lots of it! I don’t think its stopped here for at least 48 hours 🙁 We quickly snapped these photos before the heavens re opened and carried on making the ducks super happy once again.

What’s the weather like with you, indulge me! Are you having lovely dry brisk weather or like me, considering investing in flippers?

I am dying over your bag, Rachel!! All around, beautiful outfit though. I haven't too much played with all my more colorful tights yet. I've worn several pairs but forgot to get outfit pics. Oh well, they'll be more cooler days. The last few days have been really nice and not necessary for all the extras in my outfits. Today it rained a ton and oooh, it was so magical! I love sporting my umbrella. And how lucky are you?! When it rains, you can tell by my hair: all my baby hairs come out and curl, especially if I've straightened my hair for the day. Your hair looks absolutely perfect!
I'm glad this week has been going along better for you. You're too pretty to keep from smiling like this. ♥ I'll send the best vibes for that job for you!! xo

Great outfit, you look really relaxed and happy in these shots. The Night Circus has just been recommended to me, so I'll have to give it a read.
It's currently quite sunny here but last night we had howling wind and heavy rain… hard to know how to dress really!
Love the print on that dress btw.

And yes! Remix the sh!t out of that dress! It's too awesome not to wear it in as many different ways and as many different times as you can 🙂
