Lemon with Spots & a Side of Stripes

How’s it going lovely ladies.

Half way through the week,  my how time flies!

I have nothing of interest to say as its been one of those week so far. You know the type, stress + crazy work levels = not the best. Add in to the equation a baby  who did not want to sleep last night and woke no less than 6 times, and a crazy nose bleed for me early hours of this morning and you get a very frazzled me! ( I know get those violins out… woe is me) But we do what we gotta do and carry on right. Least the sun is shining! Its far from warm (infact its bloomin’ cold to be honest!!!) But dry and sunny i can deal with a lot better than constant rain. Ok, yes i’m babbling about the weather… shall we just go to the pictures instead? yes? Gooood!

Jeans, Top & Cardi: All Clothing at Tesco
Shoes: Matalan(about 6 years old and hardly ever worn)
Bag and necklace: New Look Sale
Glasses: River Island

Recently the lovely Catherine mentioned her like for supermarkets and combining a bit of food shopping with clothes. I am a lover of this too!! Tesco always makes food shopping that bit better, i get on that travelator to the upstairs clothes section and always discover at least 6 things i want to buy. Normally before any food has hit my trolley there’s a new top or pair of jeans in there. This outfit all happened over a few days (i shop a lot! 5 mouths to feed most of the time, we go through A LOT of food!) But when jeans are £14 and the top £9 and cardi on sale for £7 i just couldn’t resist! Plus on my bank statement it says “TESCO” which when looking back i always mentally file  in the “SPENT ON FOOD”  as opposed to “FRIVOLOUS SHOPPING” category, hee hee! Anyone else do this?

And then on to the glasses. I LOVE them. Seriously it was lust at first sight. And for £10 they were most certainly coming home with me!

Please excuse the doo, having some serious hair issues lately! Fringe (bangs) in need of a desperate cut and the rest looks like i’ve been dragged through a hedge backwards. I’m hoping to magically create some time at some point to get this sorted, or i will be resorting to cutting ones own fringe(or worse asking hubby…eek!) i’m not opposed to cutting it myself but with a huge cows lick on one side it hangs different every time! Fringe issues!! Jeez.

Ok, so it’s been lovely chatting about just silly little things, actually really relaxing.. its taking my mind  off the stressy crappy stuff, hurrah!!

Well wishing you a super lovely day. If you’re feeling generous, here’s that link to click and like it you would be so kind. I’m currently just outside of winning a prize 🙁 sad face! would love your help!

Oh I SO miss shopping at Tesco! The shoes never fit me for some reason (always far too big) but the CLOTHES-they have SUCH cute things and for such a reasonable price!

Firstly, the "do" is lovely, it works really well with the overall look. And the outfit? Stunning! I love the contrast of yellow, black and white. Gorgeous. Those sunglasses are fantastic as well. Totally love it!

As for the shopping thing.. I kind of do the same thing – I buy things on my Tesco credit card, it shows up with Tesco on the bank statement so, like you, I list it under groceries as well! xx

The first thing I thought when I saw these photos was, "Her hair looks so good! I bet she thinks it's a mess." haha
Anyhoo, as I expressed to you on twitter, I adore this outfit. It's so graphic and mod and interesting. Coincidentally I wore b&w polka dots yesterday too, but after seeing your lovely rendition of the outfit, I'm not sure I can bring myself to post mine up. It just pales in comparison to yours.

It's so intriguing that you guys have clothing at the grocery store. The first time I was in a Coop or Migros in Switzerland I remember being fascinated that I could go upstairs and buy a bra after filling my cart with bread and cheese and fruit! We don't have anything like that here (that I know of) which is probably a blessing in disguise since I might begin to justify my purchases as "food" as well. lol
