Last day of the holidays folks, boohooo 🙁 I must say i am sad to go back to work. Took the dec’s down today and the house looks bare both in a good way and bad way. i miss those sparkly lights but love that my house looks minimalistic for once (only in comparison to yesterday, its still a hoarders heaven here really)
So to mark my last day before getting back into the dreaded rat race tomorrow i went super casual.
When i say Granny crochet chic…. ye, there’s nothing chic about this outfit, but i still love the fact that i look like im wearing a jumper your granny crocheted.
Crochet Jumper & Rust Flares:
River Island sale
Chelsea Boots: Clarks
The thing i love about sales, is that i often find a lot of things are on sale as they didnt sell well, aka nobody liked them. In steps me. Usually, i love the stuff nobody else does. I like giving homes to those outcast clothes that nobody loved or wanted. My house is a clothing orphanage for unloved items… all welcome.
And this crochet jumper is the newest member. At £50 i liked it but wouldnt part with the cash. At £15 i was happy to part with my pennies. The rust flares are rather large but they proved comfy and practical for the gymnastics of jumping round the room taking down the decorations and cleaning.
I have about 6 crochet blankets at home, so now i literally blend in to my furniture. Not sure if thats a good thing lol!
I still have my 2012 goals to tell you, the more i think about it the more i keep adding so i think i have to draw a line!
I hope to be back soon (work permitting and also weather permitting, we’re forecast some nasty storms, winds, rain, you know the usual) got some cracking outfits ive put together lately that i can’t wait to show you!
Take Care lovelies

I LOVE that sweater! It's SO CUTE!!! =D
I love that you give homes to the "outcast" clothes. I think you look so adorable in that sweater and those pants are a great color! I haven't had any extra days off from work but good luck to you going back to work, I'm sure it'll take some adjusting! 🙂

Made me giggle about the home for unloved clothes! The jumper looks fab on, defo what you need in this blustery, wet, Welsh climate lol! Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog – I am on a mission to be organised this year! Can't wait to hear your goals for 2012! Hugs xx
love the outfit really suits you, you are an inspiration xx
I love that crochet sweater, and such a bargain as well! I always think its better with really trendy pieces to wait until they go into sale, because like you said, the more unusual the piece, the less likely everyone is to want it! I adore it 😀
Much love Amie

Well I think that jumper is lovely, even better at £15 rather than £50.
