I'm Rachel, Nice to meet you.
I'm nearly 28, a British chicky and a Sagittarius
I'm a wifey to by half Spanish half Sicilian London born hubby, Paolino
Mamma to my beautiful 2 year old son who's name is Neo (like The Matrix)
Step mamma to 2 cracking kids Mia and Talyn
Me and hubs have run our business together for the past 6 years (also kinda how we met)
I am a vintage loving,dress wearing, colour mixing, sentimental old fool who loves talking about "the good old days"
I have a new found love for all things crafty, and with my new sewing machine in tow i am learning how to make my own pieces and dream of dressmaking and other whimsical things.
Oh and the name of the blog.. well i love hats. I'm a hat kinda gal. But its more than that.
My maiden name was Bowler.
For years and years when people asked my name it would cause confusion, so my name always came with an explanation.
"Rachel Bowler, as in the hat" is the sentence i said probably a gazillion times.
Now i'm married i dont get to say it anymore. But now my little blog pays homage to my families name.
Also when i first met my hubby, he called me Rachel the Hat.. and it stuck.
And finally, we all know as women we wear many hats: in my case i switch my hat from mama, business woman, boss, sister, daughter, and of course wifey.
