Best Cardigan this winter (& its now on sale!!)

When it comes to 'investment pieces' this has most definitely been one that ticks all the right boxes for me this season.
I bought it way back at the end of August when the new Hush collection first landed and it just felt right to me. A mix of my favourite colours and knowing i would be able to wear with lots of my existing wardrobe meant i parted with my cash to buy what seemed like quite an expensive cardigan.
But as the months have gone on i have reached for this cardigan more times than any other in my wardrobe.

Its my absolute favourite.

I don't know if its because it was a lot of money that i'm more conscious about wearing it more to get my monies worth, or whether its the amazing quality or that i just pretty much think it's dreamy.
Either way, since autumn i have worn this cardigan more times than a so called style blogger should probably admit ;) (proof is on my instagram where you'll see it appear multiple, multiple times!)
And this week is no different, with this cold snap finally hitting, it gives me even more reason to pull this out of a morning and wrap myself in its lovely, wooly (and yet not scratchy!) cosiness.
Its also now on sale with all sizes still available.

Which got me thinking once again, investment over fast-fashion.
Part with more cash just for one item and shop less seems to be my way forward, as i'm a girl who likes to get her monies worth.

  2. What's the sizing like in the Cardi? I'm 5 foot 7 and usually take a 10/12?

    1. Hi Maggie May, i'm 5 foot 6 and a size 10 and i bought a small and its perfect for me. I would say with this cardi it is oversized anyway, and i mean that in the best possible way,it also isn't one you do-up so tightness isn't a problem, i would just therefore go on if you like things super oversized or just regular (does that make sense?)Hope that helps!X

  3. I love it, looks gorgeous and very cosy! I have been inspired though.... I could easily knit that in either the same colours or my own unique patten (I think the yarn would cost me around £30 - £35) I may try find (or design) a pattern for this and add it on to my project list :)

  6. YES! I'm totally starting to realize that spending my money on just a few high quality pieces and then mixing in more affordable options is the way to go! I'm a quality over quantity type of gal. Your cardigan looks so cozy. I would be wearing it all the time too....and napping. Lots of naps would happen if I wore that cardigan! :) Thanks for participating on the Momfluence link up! Have a great week!

  7. I would wear that cardi often too! Love the whole cozy look on you, and new bag. I spend more money on bags and boots. Other things I look for quality items on eBAY OR poshmark
