Instafashion & #Passion4Fashion Linkup

This past summer i have enjoyed documenting my day to day outfits on Instgram.
Kinda like the run of the mill, dog walking, school run outfits, that perhaps don't always get to be on the blog.
The past year has seen me simplify my style a lot, meaning when i buy i'm a lot more picky. I have found that i stick to a lot of the same things, of which i'm actually totally ok with. I mocked myself recently on twitter when packing for our trip away, as i could quite easily have packed 6 different striped tops, one for each day i was there (and a spare, ha!)
Breton tops, blazers or biker style jackets and jeans have become my uniform, and i'm good with that. There was a time where i would never even contemplate wearing the same type of outfit every day, but now i find i'm most at ease in my self-inflicted uniform.
My Michael kors bag has also featured heavily, an investment buy that is working hard for me and will continue to do so.. i'm still loving it!

But, i promise i have strayed from the breton road quite a few times still. Every sunny day this summer, i have tried my damnedest to wear a dress.
So here we have, my day to day instastyle, plus a couple of changing room selfies.. 'cos they're always fun.
Are we friends on Instagram? Be sure to swing by, i'm @Rachelthehat

Do you haver a self-inflicted uniform or you like to wear or do you like something completely different every day?

  2. I can totally relate. Infact I've been harping on about it a lot recently and I definitely went through the same process of sliming and streamlinging my closet all of this year with a new push after the holidays. No hodge podge = pure win! At least in my opinion ;-)

    Wishing you a wonderful weekend!

  8. I think we all have a style we naturally gravitate to and that can change over the years depending on many things. Since becoming freelance my style has definitely changed - less formal office wear and more casual outfits. All your outfits especially the maxi dresses are gorgeous.

  9. What a wild variety of styles you have here. Each of them stylish with you looking beautiful! I tend to wear a variety of different styles to school apparently, at least according to my old Headteacher who told me one day she loved the fact she didn't know what style I'd wear every day and it was exciting to see the difference!x

  11. You always look great, even if they're not "blogworthy" outfits. I think they all could be though! I enjoy seeing your Instagram outfits when I scroll through my feed. A striped top, leather jacket, and jeans always looks good too, so it's all good if you wear that combination a lot.
