7 on Sunday (0.2)

I am in fully fledged love with all things autumnal. The weather is cooling off just nicely making me long for stew, knitwear and long brisk walks, clich├ęd as they come.. yep thats me, but its just so so delicious this time of year.

This week around the web i have been loving:

01. Baked Gnocchi and Kale yum yum. Salvatore (that's my hubby) is a vegetarian, which means 98% of the time i eat vegetarian meals too. I'm trying to get some more recipes in my repertoire as i kind of have the same meals on constant rotation. This was so delicious.. looking forward to making some tweaks and cooking it again.

0.2 A new autumn bag.. I have my eyes on one of these. The colour way of choice is Port, how very autumnal. I really love Rebecca Minkoff bags, they're a great price for a designer bag, what d'you think?

0.3 This dress... I have a bit of a doo coming up (more on that soon), it'll be a lovely meal with friends and cocktails.. so this dress i think will be perfect with a black blazer and booties for that, but then thick tights and a chunky cardigan for winter.

0.4 Speaking of Booties, Kat of Does My Bum Look 40 got me on to these Wallis boots.. which i think would be perfect for my night out with the above dress.. hello fabulous tassels!

0.5 From the sublime heel to the comfy trainer.. I am just about to order myself a pair of these or maybe these?? I can't decide.. help a girl out, which trainers d'you think i should go for? Its bizarre as i wasn't that keen on the NB trend at all but as time has gone on they have majorly grown on me. Plus as a constant dog walker these tick so many boxes for me. Practical, trendy and super comfy.. Now which ones shall i get, help??

06. Angie at Reasons To Dress. I love to binge read her blog. She is just wonderful and i love seeing snippets of their Italian life, whether that be style, food or days out. Man do i hope to meet that girl some day (preferably in Italy.. oh how i love Italy!)

0.7 I have tried SO many of the at home gel nail polishes, but none have really lasted any longer than a normal polish for me. Its worth mentioning here i am VERY heavy handed and super clumsy. Its unfortunate as its always my freshly painted nails that get the brunt of it. But so far out of all i've trialled (Barry M, Sally Hansen, Sensationail) This Revlon product worked the best on me. Its actually superb. It lasted me 6 days which is unheard of for me. The formula isn't my favourite for application (quite runny) but longevity is a major plus point for me. Also great colour range too(my fave being the one above)

Aww i have to say i love writing these. I feel like i'm sitting down having a natter with you all.
So lets not make this a one sided conversation shall we.
What have YOU loved this week?
And which trainers shall i get?
I need a girlfriends advice (i asked hubby and he said they look the same.. now you know why i need your help!!) I'm definitely making a purchase tonight.. who knew trainers/sneakers could be so exciting, haha!

Wishing you all a lovely week!

Can't help you with the trainers - I never wear them.
Love Reasons to dress blog, thanks for introducing me!
Dress & boots are divine & the perfect match, you'll look beautiful.
Soup is soul food to me in Autumn...my favourite season too as it happens!
I tried gels once & my nails were like paper for a year afterwards ugh never again :-(

I never used to wear trainers either, until i got a dog. That changed my whole footwear situation completely. But the NB trend is something I'm just catching on to, a little late, but whats good is that they are super practical for me,
oh ans soup yes!! may include one of my fave soup recipes next week as i too am an avid soup slurper lol!
Wishing you a fabulous week Michelle x x

  3. Hi Rachel, I prefer the first pair of trainers I quite fancy them myself. What I've been loving this last week, well we have had a weeks holiday at home, just gone out for simple days out into the countryside and to the beach with our 2 dogs, eating outside at nice pubs before the weather changes too much, it's been great.

    1. classic black is always good right? And even though they are trainers i kinda thing they have a certain chicness to them ( as much as trainers can i guess lol)
That sound glorious to me. stay at home holidays are sometimes some of the best. no packing, no extra washing and just relaxation.. My next one is october and i can't wait. We spent the weekend on some woodland walks with the kids and dogs so hopefully much more of that to come! Im praying for dry crisp days! fingers crossed!
Wishing you a wonderful week Georgina!XX

  4. Hi Rachel, I love your blog and have been reading for a few years now and thought it was about time I commented. I love Autumn too and your Autumn style is fabulous. I love handbags and normally buy mine from Joules but I do really like the Rebecca Minkoff bags too. A long walk wrapped up in a cosy knit followed by Baked Gnocchi and Kale would be really nice. I like both of the trainers but if it was me I would get the second pair. Great blog, great style and your jewellery is fab too! Dx
