Casual in Grey Jeans and #Passion4fashion Linkup

I have been after a pair of grey jeans to complete my grey obsession for some time. I previously had a pair that had become really saggy and generally not very cool, so i had been on the hunt for a brand spanking new pair that would fit nicely. To my surprise, last week the lovely people for House Of Fraser contacted me and asked if i would like a pair of jeans from their wonderful wide selection. Immediately i knew it would have to be a grey pair, as my wardrobe had a grey jeans shaped hole in it that obviously needed to be filled. These grey Bench jeans arrives super promptly after ordering (literally next day, i was shocked at how speedy these delights arrived!).
I popped them on as soon as i had a day off and loved how super skinny the fit was, especially seeing as my last pair had gone very very saggy, i could see the quality straight away was much more elasticated and form fitting. Perfect for what i wanted!
(fyi they also have a really great little tool that helps decipher the best size for you to order by using some rather smart algorithms which find out what brand of jeans fit you the best! its all very clever i have to say)I decided to go for a super casual look with the burgundy biker, a great simple black tee and my khaki scarf.Simple but effective.
I wore my jeans all day and well in to the evening (you know, to the point where it's pyjamas o'clock!) and i was so happy they didn't go baggy or saggy. To be fair, even hub's commented on what a great fit they are, like a glove in-fact (said in his best Ace Ventura impression.. remember that anyone?).

Have you found a perfect fitting pair?
Or are you still on the hunt for the holy grail of jeans?

Ps this may well be my last black haired post.. this week i started the hair lightening process, starting with the stripping.. which was super scary! But yep, bye bye black hair.. it's been fun!

  1. The jeans (and seriously, the whole outfit!) are super stylish! I love grey so much. I used to have a grey pair of jeans but they were low rise and quite uncomfortable.

I can't wait to see how your new hair looks! :)

  2. I don't think that you ever look that casual, even when you're dressed down you're always put together and smart! I'm still on the look out for the perfect pair, but I have a few pairs that I wear a lot, particularly cropped styles in summer for a rockabilly look. Thanks for hosting x

  14. Wow- that's like finding a needle in the haystack- finding the perfect pair of gray jeans (or jeans for that matter!) They look so perfect on you - and I'm totally using that "pyjama o'clock!" (love it)

  15. Love the gray jeans! I just ordered a pair of gray jeans a few days ago from Forever 21--fingers crossed they will fit as I hope. I do have several pair that I adore from Loft, J.Crew Factory and L.L. Bean Signature--not gray ones, though. Thanks for hosting this link up! T. http://tickledpinkwoman.blogspot.com

  18. I'm gonna tell you what I love about these jeans--your legs! And your bum! You look so rockin' awesome in them!! Don't you love it when a pair of jeans accentuate how great you look! Love it. I also could use some grey jeans--will be checking out all the features of this jean selector. I don't like buying jeans...anything to make it easier.

    Lookin' good Rachel!
