Tartan Dress and Passion 4 Fashion Linkup

Why is it that at this time of year i always start to feel Christmassy. I mean, it's just wrong isn't it, we're still 2 whole months away from the big C-day but i can't help but get excited! What normally happens is i get really excited way ahead of the date and then get Christmas burn out the weeks running up to the day.. typical really.
My prompt for Christmassy feelings could be this cute tartan dress. Tartan always reminds me of the festive season but i couldn't (and shouldn't i might add) wait till December to where this cute little number. dresses with sleeves will forever be my BFF's of the dress world, they're just so cosy and comfy. I added some extra bling in the form of the rather fabulous Aurora statement necklace that really packs a punch and finished it off with my gorgeous Clarks boots from Shoetique, which FYI are super comfy even for heels. I took them on an unexpected half mile walk to the bank today and they proved to be very comfy. I am very impressed!
Don't forget there's still time to enter to win a pair of shoes like this or  whatever shoes you would like, in the Shoetober Giveaway, go enter here!!

  3. Your tartan dress and coat are gorgeous. You look beautiful and rich for a cold Fall day. I love that Linda is your co-star. She is great. And I love how you two are in sync since she is wearing her tartan skirt, today. =)

I also have a link-up going on the blog now until Oct 31st. It is about Breast Cancer Awareness so you can link any post where you are wearing something Pink: from lipstick to clothes to accessories, it all goes. Thanks Rachel.

    Have a great weekend!

  8. OMG I love that dress! Is it Primark!? I tried one on a very similar one in there a month or so ago. I loved it so much but it didn't suit my figure at all :( Was a little gutted but I remember thinking hoe amazing it was and how great it would look on someone else .. and wow yes it does! Gorgeous!

I always feel Christmassy in October too! Anything can set me off, even seeing the lights on in a restaurant on a dark evening!

  12. Love this dress!! It is so perfect for Christmas and who cares it's a little early :) I think the holidays come and go so fast you have to enjoy them for as long as you can. Btw, I just love the scenery in these photos - so dark and mysterious!

  15. Oh Rachel! I love this entire ensem, even where it is photographed is perfect. You look so good in deep colors. You are a sheer inspiration to me, girl friend. I'm finally feeling so much better. Yesterday was a day of appointments w/ the Drs and getting more 'herceptin' infused. That dang stuff is so necessary to my treatment but it doesn't have a side effect so it is like "did it even happen"? So that's why I am pokey today. Love your hair up too! ♥
