Khaki Draped Dress (&Passion4Fashion Linkup!)

When i said i was having a khaki crush i was not exaggerating, add a side of red and that is very much me right now. This is the dress i recently picked up in H&M, a shop i haven't visted for years. I have to say i am converted, there was some pretty great stuff there and i already have a virtual cart full of things i want to purchase next (i'm thinking these as an upgrade to my old faithful coated skinny jeans) Plus their dress collection is plentiful. I can't wait to go back to Cardiff and peruse the rails again.
When i bought this dress it was with late summer in mind, but with autumn in mind i was wondering if i could bring it with me in to the next season. Long sleeves striped top underneath, biker jacket on top, tights and maybe some black knee high boots?

Red Clutch: Dorothy Perkins (old)
Shoes: Tesco
Ray-bans:c/o sunglasses Shop

What d'you think?
How would you make it work for autumn?

  19. Great look. The red lippie works so well. I'd team the dress with a duster coat and some Jeffrey Campbell Coltranes for a winter look!

  20. Love your style. You know that. This is a beautiful taupe dress, love how it is slim at the bottom and you styled it lovely for summer. For fall, I might wear a brown faux fur cropped jacket, or fur vest, and a pair of rich brown booties. Add burgundy purse. Just a thought :-))

  28. Love this skirt!! You styled it perfectly :) In regards to faux leather pants, I ordered some online from H&M and they didn't fit (way too small and I ordered my normal size) so I went into the store to exchange them and tried two different styles on and neither fit well. So, the hunt for them is still on for me! Maybe you'll have better luck!!
