Aztec Trousers and Clashing Colours & Passion For Fashion Link Up!!

Remember my first round with relaxed trousers? i was pretty convinced that they weren't for me and these hips right here. But, never one to be defeated easily i have gone and tried this style again. When i saw these tribal print relaxed jogger i took them to the changing room to first try them on. I instantly loved them (again, the comfort people...they are SO comfy!) and so they came home for me for fancy-joggers take two.
I started with a cream top, which was nice and all but i wanted a bit more colour. So when Clarks kindly let me choose a pair of they're lovely shoes, i thought i'd pack a punch with these beauties and clash it up with a bit of orange. I have always loved Clarks shoes and had a tough time deciding which pair to get, i went for a lovely pair of flats as it seems i lack some more sensible shoes lately and as we are off to Cornwall with lots of walking next week funky flats seemed the best option. Who said flats have to be boring? Not Clarks that's for sure ;)
My darling husband however was not taken by this outfit---at all (man repellent possibly?)I kept teasing him and striking a hammer time pose just to make matters worse. He actually enquired as to if i was going out in these pyjama like trousers, to which i walked my bum out the door so he could see that yep, i meant business...in pyjamas.

  1. Tee hee, my OH hates these kind of trousers too, but I don't wear them anyway. What he really hates is animal print, but I still sneak in a few items, perhaps knickers or a pair of ballet pumps. The days of head to toe Bet Lynch are gone though!

I think these look great on you, especially with those neon bright accessories, really lovely and summery x

  2. I always look at these type of trousers and think they would be so great for relaxed days, but then when I try them on I feel as though I'm wearing PJs or something and just feel frumpy rather than cool. I guess that's because it's really unusual for me to wear trousers.

  3. I have an MC Hammer jumpsuit. I love it,so comfy but I do know it's funny. But these look great! I'm so tempted to go and try some, but I have got hips AND thighs AND backside... not so sure I can pull it off!

  6. I'm so happy to see that these pants look wonderful on you! So far I've only seen these types of pants on ladies without much hip going on...so I wasn't sure if they would look good on me at all. Now I think I'm going to have to give them a try!

  10. My husband has a great eye though we do see things differently sometimes. I do what I like anyway even if we disagree. He always wants my hair shorter than I do, I mean really short, one inch or so. I like you pants especially with the brights!

  11. I love pink and orange together, super cute! My husband rarely says anything neggie about my outfits, it's usually the other way around ~ me wanting him to "tweak" what he's wearing before we leave the house. ~Ann

  12. I'm not the world's hugest fan of these trousers - I still have memories of MC Hammer. But I love the print on these, and teamed with orange I think they look really fab.

Yes, I have worn things Hubby doesn't like. He seems to be used to my kind of crazy though. :o)

  18. I'm having a love affair with orange at the moment, I'm lusting after a pair of tangerine coloured courts. You'd be proud of me, I've just spent £54 on F&F clothes. Loving their range at the moment! I know what you mean about man repellent clothes, John absolutely hates that zebra jumper! I'm glad it doesn't put you off :-) xx

  21. I love the pants! I have quite a collection of pajama trousers myself...so comfortable. And yes, my husband hates them too...he says I look like I have an old man butt! Haha! I don't care, though because I love them.

  24. Lovely outfit. I have a similar pair of pants that I just debuted on the blog. I felt a little bit like I was wearing PJs when I left the house, but I have on jewelry--and I don't wear jewelry to bed. So that proves that these are "outside" pants!

My husband doesn't "get" a lot of what I wear. I know what to wear if I want to grab his attention, but I'm not going to dress for him all the time. He calls my style "quirky" and that's fine by me!
