Biker with Leopard and Stripes

Hey lovelies, we have been enjoying experimenting with our new camera lately ( i say we, i mean hubs, i just stand there while he does the skill-full bit). We recently got us a little upgrade and went from a Canon to a Nikon and the switch over has  been a little rough! Its like a completely different camera experience. But finally with a few tweaks to the settings and a lot of patience i am happy to report some nice photos. What camera do you use? Any advice for a new Nikon user?

Just another outfit i stole from a pin i had found and fallen in love with, and i totally loved wearing it too. Mixing a few of my favourite things stripes, my brown biker and leopard print!! Saaweeettt!!I've been more Rachel the Scarf than Rachel The Hat of late. My scarf collection is getting kinda crazy (crazy in a good way! i looove me some scarf's!) and this one from Miss Selfridge is big and cosy and one of my favourite remixing colours- mustard. I decided to clash it up a bit with the poppy red clutch i got in the mega Dorothy Perkins sale and called it an outfit. A happy outfit indeed. Simple but effective, my favourite kind.

I have nothing really to say today (hence the load of waffle above) its just one of those days i guess, its sunday, im sleepy and busy arranging things for the coming week, housework and chores, so really i have nothing of any interest to say (unless you find laundry interesting then i invite you to have a conversation with me about how lovely the fabric softener is im using at the moment) But apart from that i have zilch..nada...nothing. So on that note i wish you a lovely week and and a lovely end to your weekend, whatever it is you're doing.

I was going to give you some advice on the Nikon, but I guess if you have come from a cannon and are not a total novice then you probably know more than me! Have fun with it =)

  16. Another spot-on piece of styling from you, lovely Rachel! I said red and mustard were your colours, didn't I?!

Plus the photos look faaaaabulous. I'm a Nikon girl too, and my best tip is to make sure you're using the Aperture priority to create that lovely bokeh background - and it looks like you're doing that already, so hats off (boom boom!) to you and hubby for getting that right! It'll always be the best setting for any style blogger to use, even if they do nothing else :)

  20. mice to thrive. These pests often infiltrate homes and set up camp in wall cavities and roofs. They can wreak havoc on your property as they chew through structures and furniture in hopes of locating food and sites for nesting. Their droppings can also cause myriad health problems. If you live close to restaurants or any other businesses related to food, you should be particularly wary of rat infestations. Flicks Adelaide's pest control team inspects homes for rats and mice. 21. The relative warmth of Adelaide's climates makes it an attractive environment for rats and Possums in South Australia are protected under the National Parks and Wildlife Act, so harming them can result in you being made to pay heavy fines. A licensed pest manager from Flick can make a house call, set a trap on the roof of your home and catch the possum. Spiders Arachnids such as the venomous Redback spider not only look scary, they are also dangerous to humans. Spider control treatment is often necessary to keep them at bay and off your property. A qualified Flick technician can treat the danger zones in your home including cracks and crevices, lighting, doorways, external window areas, under seating and around down pipes. Such treatment can prevent spiders from proliferating and overrunning your home.
