Stripes & Aztec

It's so good to be back guys! We had a lovely time on our family trip to Cornwall but its always so nice to get home and sleep in your own bed and be amongst your own things (and wake up to your own wardrobe filled with all your lovely clothes, rather than a limiting suitcase) But it was lovely and we're already planning our next trip back perhaps in Spring next year. I would actually love to return to see Tintagel castle sans kids and climb to the top and do the hundreds of steps too, so that gives me a good reason to perhaps book a cheeky little weekend away for me and hubs, that would be sweeet!
Autumn is looking pretty wet in this neck of the woods, seriously rainy and windy ( to the point where our town has seen some roofs flying off and crashing on to peoples houses and all-sorts or trouble!) But the weather is still freakishly mild, im kinda routing for a cold spell to be honest , i know call me crazy, but there's nothing i love more than a crisp cold autumn morning, bundling up in scarf's and hats and big thick coats and going for a long walk.
But the mild weather does mean more biker jacket wearing. I know for a fact as soon as the cold weather hits i tend to ditch my little lovely jackets for big thick quilt like coats. I may like the cold, but i am a complete wimp and need my thermals, like the little old lady i am- heehee!
But scarves will definitely be a major fixture for the foreseeable. I just love how they can jazz up any outfit. And this dress im wearing went on sale (couple of sizes left here) after i'd been eyeing it for a few weeks so that was my outfit for today sorted. I am seriously going to have to curb the self spending the next couple of months, with a certain big day less than a couple of months away now.I need to get some serious planning on!!

Are there any items you're getting your wear out of whilst its still mild to do it?
Or do you carry on wearing items regardless of the dropping temperatures?

  3. I love the boots, but the whole outfit is pretty great!

So you were in the path of the big storm. It must have been scary with trees falling and tiles blowing off roofs. At least you're okay, and that lane looks so pretty.

  7. This is a fabulous look on you. Love how you added the vibrant scarf and quilted jacket. But those booties, oh those booties!!! I just returned from a month long trip to the UK and was taken back by how beautiful the scenery was. I can totally relate to your comments of how nice it is to return home to your wardrobe and not living out of a suitcase (although it was kind of nice to wake up and not spend any time deciding what to wear, haha).

  13. Glad you guys had a good time! I love the biker jackets...I am a little wimpy as well when it gets cold, but have been keeping my eye out for really cool coats when I go thrifting! I have a couple but want more haha.

  14. Living out of a suitcase is never easy- even when you think you've packed perfectly! I love the black & white with the pop of red in the scarf, and that is an awesome jacket! Where I live in Arizona, the winters are mild so I basically wear all the same clothes as summer but I can layer them up and add scarves and long sleeves.

  18. This dress is awesome paired with your cute moto jacket. The print on your scarf looks so cool with the stripes on your dress. I'm kind of in love with your boots too.
