Chocolate and Cream

 So every girl needs some essentials during autumn/winter, right? And in my eyes two of those very important things that are the top of my must have list every autumn are;
 a pair of brown/tan knee high boots
and
 and a pair of black biker style boots

  I am so pleased to be collaborating this month with Lotus Shoes to show you some of the best shoes around.

Today i introduce you to my new love the chocolate brown knee high boot

 Each winter without fail, i always invest in a good pair of brown boots. Normally i go for a light tan which has always been great, but this year i really fancied going for the chocolate brown. These boots are a such a great dark rich colour , they look luxurious and practical all at the same time. The soles are thick and have a lot of grip, ( that might sound strange but is noteworthy in my books as my previous boots from Next had zero grip and actually have a hole in the sole, which i am not impressed with, after shelling out £80 last winter on them!)  this will be so helpful during the snowy/frosty months adding a great practicality to the classic boot.

The riding boot style is one that has held its own for winter upon winter, i love how they can look smart and yet are so easy to wear too! As a mother and a general lady on the go these are the ultimate winter boot for me. I know i can wear these with nice pretty blouses for coffee dates with friends, or with a big coat through the thick of winter whilst going for long walks with the family, they are the boot of all boots for the jack(jill?) of all trades.

 To début the Lotus Amano Dark Brown Leather Knee High Boot i wanted a simple classic outfit, so today i went for simple dark indigo skinny jeans and cream blouse with gold jewellery. Simple yet effective i found! I can't wait to show you all the wonderful ways i have planned to style these lovely boots over the next few months. I can see these being a regular fixture on these feet of mine!

Do you have your classic winter boots yet?

  4. I have a pair of riding boots that I purchased when I was 18!!! Yep, that's right - 18. I adore them. They are authentic riding boots and every season I have them conditioned and polished. I can't wait to wear them. I'll have to wait though. 93 degrees today in Southern California. By the way, I love the whispy top! I found your blog on Visible Mondays.

  5. I have brown cowboy boots and black Frye boots. Both keep lasting and lasting, I don't see myself needing new boots any time soon.

    I too like the whispy top (Glenda described it so well!).
