I guess being back in the travel industry has re-sparked my love for travelling. Each day i work in the travel agents i price up holidays and imagine what it would be like to go. Top of my Travel bucket list are Sorrento, Rome and Venice in Italy and Dubrovnik in Croatia. And even though now my not be the ideal time for us to travel ( cos' of moving house, Paul starting a new job, generally starting afresh) i totally can't wait for the day we can jump on a plane and see the world some more.
But for now these views aren't to bad ....
When i was last in travel 7 years ago, i was quite a lucky girl and got to see some amazing places. I've visited Barcelona and many parts of Spain, Paris and other parts of France, Cuba, New York, Dominican Republic to name just a few, and each and everyone i loved.
The nice thing about going away, i always look forward to coming home, sleeping in your own bed in your own home.. it's still the best place to be :)

What a beautiful resting place. I love traveling and Italy is one of my favourite countries. So far I've been to Rome, Venice, Milan, greater Lombardy and Prescara, but I'd love to go to Florence and Tuscany too.

ReplyDeleteI have not travelled that much only summer holidays etc. I have been to Florida which was just amazing. Austria is beautiful too. I love England, I mean if we had nicer weather I would love to go to more plces in England, Scotland and Wales. I would love to visit Ireland too x
Your outfits are always so perfectly put together. My New Years resolution was to travel more this year. So far I've been to Berlin and have a weekend break to Bristol and week holiday to turkey. 2013 is looking good!

ReplyDeleteYay, happy I found your blog. I have been travelling forever and I love it! I always take the views in the UK for granted, which is easy living in France. But when I go back to my boy's childhood home in Devon, I remember just how wonderful it is! I love your hat!!!! Love Elle xo

ReplyDeleteMy hubby and I traveled to Brazil last summer, one of the best experiences in my life. I really want to explore Europe now

Love the outfit and the backdrop - just lovely :)
ReplyDeleteI totally get you on the travel thing. before I was married, I travelled every summer, mostly to the UK, and then I lived in Manchester for a year and travelled all over the place including Paris and Prague. I've had a major travel bug recently but unfortunately not enough in the wallet to satisfy it... ah well, someday!
Wow, those views are beautiful! I love Wales. Following you back now,

ReplyDeleteI love your colorful look, Rachel, and of course these gorgeous views. How great to have traveled already, and to look forward to more. New York City is my favorite place, but I haven't been to your town yet : >

ReplyDeleteI don't know where you are but the location looks pretty fabulous!! It inspires me to look to my own home town for amazing locations. I love this post especially for that inspiration. I'm always wanting to go away, but perhaps I need to explore my back yard, so to speak. You also look inspiring, with your colorful outfit and gorgeous hat (of course!). XXOO
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful backdrop! You look like you're in an Anthropologie catalog! Have I said that before. Oh well...you do and I love it!!

ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog!!
ReplyDeleteI love to travel. I know that when we go back home to the UK, we are going to see Europe a lot more, and visit more of the UK. One thing about moving away from your own country, is you do not realise how lucky you are until you leave. The UK is sooo beautiful and full of so much culture and history!
We are planning on travelling around Vietnam later this year. I can not WAIT!!!
That's a pretty spectacular view! Great outfit.

I love to travel too! My last trip was to Costa Rica about a year and a half ago. It's been too long! Love your scarf. :)
ReplyDeleteLook at you, pretty lady, mixing so many gorgeous colors like a freaking expert! This many colors could go so wrong so fast, but you have a natural knack for knowing how to mix just the right ones so that your outfits always looks really flattering, and super beautiful! Honestly, I'm kind of jealous ;)

You always find the most picturesque places! And you always look fab - that dress is gorgeous, I love it combined with the cardi! I'd love to go on a holiday too, but I think a holiday with a 1 year old might be more trouble than it's worth - maybe when he is a bit older! Xo
ReplyDeleteThis is such a cool place to take pictures! The view is absolutely gorgeous! I've been feeling like traveling lately too, but I'm still in school and poor so there's that unfortunate reality haha. Maybe someday soon...
ReplyDeleteAnyway, I love the pretty, fun colors in this outfit. Your red scarf looks perfect with the yellow cardigan and your blue floral dress is adorable. Such a great look!

ReplyDeleteI love this dress with that mustard sweater. They go fabulously together. I, like you, love to travel and have been to some of those places you dream about (I know I'm lucky!). My favorite place on Earth from the ones I've visited would have to be Venice. I actually did a blog post on it Today!
ReplyDeleteWhenever possible I totally recommend you go.
Oh good...I'm not the only one who loves to take pictures in cemeteries. I'm not sure why...I just enjoy how quiet it is. I love to travel and there are so many places I'd love to go. I would love to spend my whole life traveling! The place I'd love to go to most though is New Zealand. If I don't go there in my lifetime, I will seriously regret it.
ReplyDeleteI love your outfit! So much colour but you pull it together well :)
