Window Shopping: The Weekend Wear Edition

Every weekend i have the idea that i want to go for long walks in the beautiful countryside that surrounds me where we live. And every weekend i think "oh my god what the heck shall i wear!?", lets face it i probably ask myself that question at least 5 days a week. But on weekends, I really don't feel like asking myself that much lately. I'm really yearning for some casual weekend get-ups, that dont leave me feeling frumpy and allow me to jump in muddy puddles (Peppa Pig style of course)
So here i have done a wee bit of window shopping with what i think i need to buy to make my weekends just that little bit easier.

Weekend Wear
Stripey Top:  Next
Joules Moredale quilted jacket: Cruise Fashion currently on sale at an amazing price!
Stretchy jeggings: Dorothy Perkins
Wooly Hat: River Island
Wellies: Hunter
Rucksack:New Look
Joules Scarf: Cruise Fashion (also on mega sale)

I like to think I've covered all the bases here. What do you think? Pretty yet practical.
Stripy re-mixable top and a lovely looking back-pack to leave my hands free but to still carry my phone, purse and essentials. The wellies allow me to jump in as many muddy puddles as i please and the skinny jeans tucked nicely in to those means no annoying wet hems like you get with flared jeans.
This Coat... oh this coat. I have had my heart set on for so very long. The floral lining, the striking colour and it's quilted goodness. Oh how i need that in my life ( but yet i need another coat in my wardrobe like a hole in the head..eek!)

I guess one of my New Years resolutions is to get outdoors more and enjoy beautiful views and make the most of wear i live! I mean just look at it! It's beautiful huh!

What do you wear on weekends?

*This isn't sponsored, i genuinely love all these pieces. But i was kindly imbursed for a link placed in this post

  1. if you have a look in Asda they have some lovely outdoor coats..kind of like wax jackets but nicer...(or maybe it's Tesco actually) that are about £35 and would fit your outdoor walks perfectly, they have them in navy and a nice bright red! x

  3. Gorgeous! Consider me jealous :) I'm a fan of leggings, boots, and a loose button-up on the weekend during the winter and leggings, flats or flip flops, and a loose top in the summer.

  5. That view looks gorgeous, I'd definitely be out there all the time if I lived somewhere that beautiful. Joules are definitely a good pick for outdoors-y clothing, I have one of their gilets that I wore with my Hunters for a long dog walk this morning - got some fleece Hunter welly socks for Christmas too which are a dream! xo

  6. I always want to go for a walk around town or up to the suspension bridge, but WITHOUT FAIL, I always pick the most inappropriate shoes. I'm not even talking heels here, just shoes that pinch, rub or upset my feet, which often results int he walks being somewhat shorter than i had intended! x
