Seeing Hearts

Welcome to the weekend folks...
wooohoo i am so glad its here. First weeks back after a break are always super hard and super tiring, I'm knackered!! Have you had a good week?

If dogs could smile i totally think she would be!

Dress: New Look
Scarf as belt & Cardi: Tesco
Necklace: Old
Shoes: Old

All of this outfit is made up from things i've had for ages now. This dress has only been worn once and then shunned to the back of the wardrobe, and the scarf was worn a couple of times in spring. I'm actually having fun shopping my wardrobe, making outfits out of what i already have and gee whiz i have A LOT! I am seeing lots of autumn/winter stuff coming out that looks so good!! I love autumn (doesnt every style blogger?) And as much as i moan about the weather, i look forward to tights of all colours, layers and wooly slouchy knits! Oh yes! the girl who has been complaining about not having enough sun is soooo over that. Bring on Autumn i say!

Last week i saw Katie tie a scarf as a belt. It dawned on me, i used to do this all the time when i was 18(eek nearly 10 years ago!), then stopped. So i thought why not! My waist maybe a little LOT bigger than when i was 18 but heck i can still try it out! I've been wanting to add a hit of much needed pink to this dress for a while and this turned out just right! Heart scarf on heart dress. I have a real thing for hearts , oh yes...
12345 just a few i've worn here on the blog, and there's more. I also have lots of hearts all around my house, pictures, frames, wall hangings. what can i say, I heart hearts!
I have some DIY ideas brewing and im mega excited to make some stuff and show you guys. I've also being sewing up some little lovely pieces, which i may just do a small show and tell ie bragging about what i managed to do! yay me!! hahah!

Ok well you all have a reeeeeaaalllyy lovely weekend

Cheers lovelies! xx

  2. This dress is adorable, I love that colour on you. I don't know why but I've been totally knackered this week as well, I think it might be that end of summer feeling, not that we've really had one. I keep thinking I am looking forward to autumn too, until I realise I am still waiting for summer! xo

  7. I wanna see what you've been sewing up! I really need to take some sewing lessons or something. Seeing what other girls can create with their sewing machines just makes me so jelly that I can't do the same.
This outfit is so darling! I have told you my similar addiction to heart prints of all kinds. I even have heart tattoos. :)
You remind me a bit of Wilma from the Flintstones in the last photos. Other than her having red hair and a white dress, I think it's just your hairdo and the necklace but I totally see her in you! Even a little Betty Rubble :)
Once again, I just love the mash up of colors and patterns. You do it so well.

  13. I really don't think it's possible to NOT be happy when seeing your cheerful outfits. I absolutely love this sweater and dress! And I may have to steal that idea of tying a scarf as a belt, I don't know why I never think of that...
