Penderfyniadau

Hello lovelies, getting back in to the swing of things nicely are we? i have a mouth ulcer and a sty, sexy i know... This is what work does to me, i'm very obviously allergic.

So today, i got up felt extremely cold and tired... i needed layers and coffee, and lots  of both. in fact i wore 2 pairs of tights as 80 denier didnt feel enough! 160..was slightly better.
I actually was just about to change out of this outfit as i wasnt to keen, when hubby walked in and said how nice i looked. In shock (and a hurry)i left it on,  mum then said the same thing. Do you ever have that? An outfit your not keen on yet others like? And then outfits you love but others, not so much!!
Dress: Next
Cardigan: Beautiful pure wool beauty from Hubby for xmas
Boots: New look
Necklace: about 8 years old

One thing i do like about this dress is its very swishy, which makes me twirly like a girly...

my feet were freezing from just standing outside for 5 minutes  (dedication huh!)

Soooo i've been craving warmth all day today and now im sat in big ole fleecy pjs (aka passion killers lol!) Its pretty treacherous  out there folks, in times like these im actually glad i live in the middle of a terraced row or i would be worried our little house may blow away. my neighbour houses are keeping us well and truly put.

So are you wondering yet what the title word means? Penderfyniadau is resolutions in Welsh. I mentioned the other day i dont like the word "resolutions" as in to resolve my problems, so in welsh it looks less scary... and a little silly, all those crazy letters!
2012
1. learn to sew
even a patch or darn a sock or something! i really want to start and learn
2. Learn to crochet
You may have seen i have a love for crochet from some of my previous posts, but other people have always made these things or i have bought them. I would love to do this myself
3.Read more
I love to read, all sorts, crime, fiction, romance, i'll give anything a go. However i just havent managed to read as much as i used to. I read blogs, but theres nothing i love more than getting in to a good book.
4. Cook a new recipe once a week.
I also love to cook. I have tons of recipe books and i used to cook different dishes all the time. I would like to cook something new at least once a week.
5. Print off more photos
I know this probably seems strange, but since going digital i hardly print anything off. I can remember loving going to the photo shop and putting my film in, not knowing what the photos would be like and being excited to get them back. Everythings instant now, you see the photos, delete the ones you dont like etc. I am making a conscious effort to print more memories.
6. Carry on blogging
I have never had a hobby, i wasn't in to horses as a child(i tried twice and fell off twice), i was never in to drama or dance, or anything really. so for me this is my first proper hobby. And i LOVE it. I have never felt so happy.  I've "met" such lovely like minded ladies through this and i want to continue doing so. Its such a great feeling seeing someone join my little site and comment and open conversation. Its lovely seeing other ladies and taking complete inspiration from like minded people. I have always known what kind of things i have liked but found it hard to express it. to find other people liking the same things is just amazing! Theres me thinking i was all on my own, and there you all are... in all your awesomeness!
I have reached 98 followers in the last 6 months and i never thought that would happen with my ramblings on blatantly whimsical things, I hope to continue and get better and better.
Thank you for making the girl with no hobbies very happy....
(and the girl who's a great big sentimental sap!)
So thats it i think! nothing earth shaking, but my list for me. i'll let you know how i go!
For now,
Hwyl fawr (goodbye)
Rachel

  18. I find that to be true most of the time. When I think I look good, I don't. And when I'm feeling extra crusty, people seem to love it! funny how that works.
